Hide Gallery postsin Homepage

  Hi,
  I found in a post that there is in the theme customizer, check box for “Hide Gallery posts in the blog”. This seemed to me very helpful. But I don’t see any such check box in my Customizer Display options. I need your help for my Portfolio theme site at http://www.puronokolkata.com

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Most likely that does not relate to sites hosted on WordPress.com. If you would like me to be certain, please include the link to that post in your reply.

  However, it seems you have a Custom Design upgrade on the site you’ve linked to so it may be possible to suppress display of posts using the Gallery format using CSS. However, I am a bit confused by your site, which is using Portfolio (a premium theme) and which to me looks completely unstyled.

  Hi Justjennifer,

  Here is the link, as desired, for your reference.

  The Portfolio premier theme, as you may know, is differently constructed than other WP themes to suit the basic requirements of non-blog websites (e.g. free from the compulsion of ordering of items by posting dates). This is why I have chosen the theme, though it is not stylish, and why I am having Custom Design upgrade. Yes, CSS will help me a lot. But this moment I am too busy with transferring posts from my earlier setup to populate my website.

  I apologize as I did not realize we were discussing the premium theme, Portfolio.

  The fastest way to get assistance with the Portfolio theme is to post your question to the theme author in the premium theme forum for that theme (the one you linked to is for Photography,a different premium theme). That’s part of the price you paid for a premium theme.

  Yes, that is how I knew that you had posted in the wrong premium theme forum. It was in the Photography theme forum, not the Portfolio forum. These premium themes may not work the same, hence you should post in the Portfolio premium theme forum, since that is the theme you purchased and use.

  Since forum volunteers do not have access to premium themes or their functionality, I cannot really assist with this question.
