Hide header text and description

  Hi,
  I am looking to hide the header text and description from view but keep it to still be able to be searchable so as not to make a huge SEO blunder.
  I have searched all over to find an answer without too much luck

  Take a look at this post by Panos: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/header-images/ .

  It lists which themes you can hide the site title/tagline in via the dashboard. For themes that do not have this option, it would have to be done via CSS which requires the custom design upgrade.

  Thanks. So now that I hide the header text, will it still show up in searches?

  Yes, it is only hidden from viewers, not from the search engines.
