Hide Image Title
-
Hi, just like to know is there a way to hide the image title when
1) move the mouse over the image,
2) click to open the image (the title shown at bottom)I read some posts saying that it needs CSS to do it, but I don’t know how.
The theme I’m using is Rowling, and the site I need help is
saikungproperty.wordpress.comhttps://saikungpropertyhk.com/
Many thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m not sure what you mean by the first one but you can hide the image title (and any other information) on your carousel pages with this code:
.jp-carousel-info { display: none; } -
Thanks Halluke! It work!
For the first question, I’m sorry I did not make it clear. The image title will show up if the mouse point to an image of a gallery arranged in tiled mosaic-style layout. Some titles are just DCSxxx which are meaningless, so I would like to see if I can hide it too.
Many thanks!

I think that’s a browser feature rather than something you can change with CSS.
It might be a bit of work but the best thing I can suggest is to give your photographs good titles when you upload them, this way if people with sight problems or using assistive technology want to view your site (or if the images just don’t load for whatever reason) they can still get a good description of the images that they might be missing out on.
In an ideal world all websites would do this for all images so visually impaired people still get a good online experience.
