Hide old posts
-
Hello
I want to change the subject of my blog and have a number of posts that are not appropriate to the new theme. I don’t want to delete them, nor do I want them to be public.
I had hoped to be able to set up a new page that only I can see which I could use to access the posts, but remove them from the first page.
I have read about static pages and categories, but cannot work out how to make that work for me.
Many thanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can change the posts visibility to private.

Hi!
May I suggest the following:
Navigate to Posts > All Posts at the wp-admin area of your blog. Select all the posts you wish and then select Edit from the Bulk Actions. Afterwards, click Apply.
You’ll see several boxes where you can change your posts in bulk. Under Status, select Private. Click the Update button.
This way, all of these posts will not be visible to the public. This way, you can also add a tag “old posts” for example, so that you can easily find them all if you need them.
Hope this will help. Cheers :)
