Hide Page Title but not on page tab

I’m not quite sure what to call this problem. I am new to WordPress and have not began editing any CSS yet but I have familiarized myself pretty well with the Dashboard and many plugins. Basically, I would like to hide the page title on my homepage but not have that title hidden at the top of any browser tab, social media posting, etc. Right now my browser tab does not show the name of my site or subtitle, nor does it show when I try to post it to Facebook or in a text message from my phone. It also doesn’t show a frontpage default image; which FB and text messages usually do when you type in a URL. Is there a plugin for this?

Any help on this would be amazing.
