Hide page titles in photography theme

  I’m trying to hide my page titles (about, contact, etc.) from the top of my pages but NOT from my posts pages, the menu, or internet tabs. I do have the premium upgrade and have tried the css codes that I’ve seen recommended on other posts. I’ve tried the following:

  .page. headline text-center {display: none;}

  and:
  .page .entry-title {display: none;}

  Nothing is working. Any help is appreciated!

  Hi there.

  I would say the first one should work, just changing it a little bit, because I’m afraid it has little typos. The point there is to the right of ‘.page’ should be to the left of ‘headline’, so “.page .headline” instead of “.page. headline”. Apart from that I would delete ‘text-center’ -anyway it would also need ‘.’ to the left- from the selector :)

  So. I suggest you to use this CSS code:

  page .wf-active .headline {
      display: none;
  }

  Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately that didn’t work either. I’m new at CSS–is there any other code I need, or do I simply paste your code in the CSS box on the left? (I went to Appearance-Customize- then CSS, and entered the code.) I did go ahead and save it, but nothing happened.

  Ah! Sorry about that but I did another typo!!! Page needs a dot to the left. So:

  .page .wf-active etc

  I tried putting the . at the beginning but that didn’t work either. When I went to save it, I got an error message saying “Are you trying to cheat? You can’t alter this theme” or something like that!!

  I do have the premium theme upgrade so I thought I could change the CSS if I needed to. Is it possible that is a different upgrade that I would have to purchase?

  I also considered going back into pages and deleting the titles altogether. But I want the page titles to show up in my stats, and I don’t want the titles to disappear from the internet tabs (right now i says ABOUT, etc. followed by my name.) Also, I don’t want to hurt my ranking in search engines as I was reading elsewhere on the forums where someone said that would affect it.

  Please advise! Thanks.
