Hide “posted on” and “by”
-
Hi,
I am using the Twenty Ten theme and a static page for my main page. It’s not a real blog as I don’t allow people to comment and the posted date and the by user are not relevant. Is it possible to hide them without having to buy the upgrade CSS?
Thank you,
Maryse

It would require the paid CSS upgrade and some CSS editing experience.

That might get rid of the comment link though as trackbacks and pingbacks are considered comments. Force refresh your blog page after doing so and see if it goes away.

Thank you for your respond. I know CSS but I am trying to see what we can do with the free version of WordPress.com – I am wondering if there are some themes that allow hiding the dates in the posts.

iNove allows you to hide some stuff and there is another theme that allows you to hide virtually everything, but I can’t remember what theme that is. Perhaps it’s Fusion?
