Hide posts on child pages in Goran theme Grid Template
-
Hi, I’m new to WordPress so was wondering if someone might be able to help me. I’ve created a website using the Goran theme. I have used the Grid Template on the front page, but have now realised that parts of the posts on the featured child pages show on the front page. Is there any way to stop this from happening? To change this would I need to get the CSS upgrade?
Thanks for your help!

You could insert a More tag at the point you want to break your pages for the front page.

Or you can do this with custom CSS through the Premium plan:

Ok I will have a go with the More tag first and then if I’m still not happy with how it looks will think about upgrading.
Thanks very much for your help!

The More tag has worked great! Just one other question…
I want to have the option on my site for people to buy my music, so it will be mp3 files. Ideally I would like them to buy them through paypal, and once they have submitted payment, to be directed to another page where they can make the download. I have found a whole load of videos on YouTube regarding this but wondered what you would recommend?Thank you again.

I think it depends on your particular situation, but I know CDBaby offers several styles of purchasing buttons that work here on WordPress.com. It’s totally up to you though! If you already understand and work with Paypal, go that route! :)
