Hide RSS icon

  When you add a rss widget on the title appears an RSS icon, I would like to know if there’s a way to delete or hide this icon, I can’t find it on the css…

  Unfortunately it’s an image with a link to the feed in the widget title and if you set “display:none” for the rsswidget selector you’d hide the title, too.

  This is not fully thought through but can’t one make a text widget with the feed link and design the widget as one please? Or are we stuck with the ready made widget?

  Well, the rss widget displays the feed content, a text widget won’t do.

  I realise but we have the “Latest Posts” widget for that. Readers only need the RSS widget to add the feed provider to their feed reader.

  Sorry “Recent Posts” is the name of that widget.

  universalgeni, I use 2 rss widgets for 2 yahoo pipes, 1 for my aNobii books, you can use it for Twitter, for displaying News… there are many possible use cases for rss widgets. But this was not the orginal question and what we two are doing here is called thread hijacking and it’s not nice.
