Hide/Show content and openning a modal from the new content

    Hi there! I’m looking for specific advice to create some functionality that I’m having trouble creating using WordPress tools. I’ve created some wireframes for what I’m looking for, hopefully this helps make things clear:

    I’m looking for a user-friendly way to maintain a page that looks like this so that my co-workers using the functionality will be able to update it easily. by adding new photos and titles in the hierarchy.

    Is there any functionality or plugins that you can think of that might do some of this work for me? Essentially the two features I need are photos that are links that make a new div of content appear, then inside of that content are more photos that when clicked, open up a modal with a new photo enlarged on the screen.

    Hi there,

    The closest I can do is that this type of thing falls in the realm of image gallery plugins. But I’m not able to recommend anything specific.

    The folks over in the WordPress.org forums might have more specific suggestions for you. They’re the people who make the open source WordPress software, and plugins for that software:

    You might need to build something custom for this, or extend an existing plugins. The Developing WordPress subforum is the best place for help with those types of questions, but you can try the general forums first for advice on anything existing that might do the trick.
