  Hello, I’d like to render the site private for a while while my company is restructuring. I dont want anyone to have access to the blog. what should I do?

  You can change the privacy options under Settings ->Reading. I’m not sure, but I think people already following your blog will still be able to see it. You can ask staff to remove all existing followers to prevent that, but of course that will mean you don’t have any more followers.

  Alternatively you can password protect individual posts and pages to prevent access to them. You can do this from the “All Posts” and “All Pages” options on the dashboard via the quick edit link on each post or page, but you have to do this one by one – there’s no bulk edit option.
