Hide Site Title and Tag Line

  • Unknown's avatar

    I was hoping someone could help me with something on my site. I added a Site Title and Tag Line to my site so it shows up in browser tabs and links. However, when I added it, it also showed a the top of my webpage. With the banner image I have, it looks off and redundant. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove this from the main page and subsequent pages?

    My site is adamradkins.com

    Thanks!

    Hi adamradkins,
    You can try and use the code in the custom CSS section of your site, to know more about read here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/
    Also, you need to be subscribed to the Premium or Business Plan, here is more information about the plans:
    https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    If you are already on the plans, try using this CSS code,

    span.description {
        display: none;
    }

    This would hide the content ” Official Site for Actor, Director, and Comedian Adam R. Adkins”.
    Also, if you are already a Premium or Business user, you can use Live Chat Support.
    Hope this helps. Let me know for any further information.
