    Hi Vanita,

    You have a couple options for hiding the site title and tagline with CSS. To start, you can open the Customizer by going to My Blogs and clicking the “Customize” link for your blog.

    In the CSS section, you can enter the CSS you want to use in the CSS Editor, depending on how you want your site to look:

    1. You can hide the site title and tagline but leave the space they appear in, so you can still see the header image above the menu. To do that, you can add this CSS code in the customizer:

    #header #masthead {
    visibility: hidden;
    }

    2. You can remove the site title and tagline and move the menu up to the top of the screen (so it takes the place of the title and tagline) with this CSS code:

    #header #masthead {
    display: none;
    }

    If you have any questions about that or want to do other things using CSS, most of our CSS support is done in our CSS Customization forum:
    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization

    You can post CSS questions in that forum and the expert staff and volunteers there can help you find the code you need. :)
