I have WordPress Premium and am using theme TwentyTen. How can I hide the tags on my home page? I am a CSS newbie. I understand the concept but need someone to walk me through the steps to do this. I know how to get to the CSS revisions page but don’t know what to do next. I can’t see the CSS for the theme. Can someone help me? My blog is journeysbyjill.com

I don’t help with CSS editing but like all bloggers I can use the search utilities. In this case I used Google search and here’s what I located for you. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-do-i-unshow-the-categoriestags-listed-below-each-post-on-my-home-page?replies=10#post-1371107
To hide categories and tags below post on the homepage at the Twenty Ten theme, add this to your Appearance > Customize > CSS panel:
.entry-utility .cat-links, .entry-utility .meta-sep { display: none; } -
Yippee! I am part of the way there. It removed the categories but the tags are still showing. Any way to remove those too?

Hi there, to hide the tags in addition to the categories, change the CSS @timethief gave above to this (note the addition bit on the end of the selector):
.entry-utility .cat-links, .entry-utility .meta-sep, .entry-utility .tag-links { display: none; }At WordPress.com we don’t actually edit the CSS. We create rules to override the existing CSS. We have a set of brief screencasts on How to Find Your Theme’s CSS using your browser’s built in web inspector tool that should get you started on your CSS journey, and as always, we are here to help.

CSS is generally theme specific, and furthermore, not all themes have classes or IDs set in the HTML for tags and categories.
If you haven’t already, make friends with the web inspector in your browser, which will allow you to more easily identify the CSS for different elements in your site pages. We have a set of brief screencasts that explain How to Find Your Theme’s CSS using the web inspectors which will get you started.

That looks helpful. I will look at it when I am in front of my computer. I have WordPress Premium – does that include the CSS Custom Design upgrade?
