Hide tags from Vigilance
-
Hello, i’m wondering if someone can help me out. I have read the tutorials on CSS but when I tried to change something I messed up my blog. :) I am using Vigilance and I have the CSS upgrade. All I want to do is hide the tags so what I tag each post as doesn’t show. but is still present for SEO. Does anyone know how to hide the tags on this theme? thanks!!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

sorry, thought it was automatic because it asked for it in my blog post.

Thanks, i copied and pasted that and hit save stylesheet and refreshed but the tags are still there. :(

Not seeing it in your custom CSS anywhere. Check and make sure it is still there. The code Panos gave is correct.

Hm, don’t know then. I just went back in and it shows it in the box under my CSS area. Don’t know why it isn’t showing for you or changing it. When I went in it was still in the dialog box in the CSS section. Just to be sure I hit “save stylesheet” again and it said it saved but still nothing.

On the off chance that the CSS editor is for whatever reason “picky” delete the other .tags stuff and add this.
.tags { display:none; } -

Thanks. That second one worked. Guess CSS was being picky. :) Thanks so much for the help!

Sometimes I wonder if the CSS is not done via the code tag here, or enclosed in backticks, if it doesn’t bring in some odd stuff that messes things up when you try and paste it into the CSS edit window.
Then again, who knows?
