Hide tags with Twenty Sixteen theme
-
I upgraded my blog to the Twenty Sixteen theme a few months ago. I didn’t like the way it looked with the tags displayed right below the categories, so I deleted the tags from each post.
Now I’ve realized that SEO uses tags and I’ve probably done myself a disservice by removing the tags. For example, a Google search for “Utility Billing Blog” (a tag I used on all my posts when I was using tags) returns my blog as number two in the list, but clicking the link displays an empty page in my blog unless I tag the posts.
Is there a way in the Twenty Sixteen theme to include tags, but hide them from displaying?
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
