Hide the email address to avoid spam

Hello, I’m using WordPress with Manifest theme.
Well, it sounds odd to me but apparently not many people wonder about how to publish their email address (“mail to:”) but at the same time with the obvious need to hide it to spammers.
Could you help me?
Furthermore, I found on youtube a video about this, but it explains to move to “Plugins” tab… but I do not have it on my dashboard! (why?)

Anyway, it is disconcerting that publishing an email w/o the risk of spam is NOT possible with WordPress.com

Use the contact form – that keeps your email address completely hidden and the contact form is routed through Akismet to help prevent you from getting spam comments
you can’t add your own Plug-in’s – that link gives yo a list of some of the built in Plugin’s

Ok ok, I know the existence of the contact form and I put it on my website too.

You can publish it but not hide them – the only part solution would be to put the info in an image and put the image on your blog – then people can type the info into their own email
