Hide the Featured Photo Post

Hi I am trying to create a slideshow on my homepage but the only way I can figure out how to do it is to create posts with a featured image. Right now I only want the photos to show up in the slideshow, not as a blog post, does anyone know how to do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The “home” page of every blog by default is the only page that all published posts appear on. Are you clear on that?

Yes I just did some more research on the subject! I am going to create a separate portfolio page (duh, should’ve looked at that sooner). Obviously new at this! Thanks for your help

Hi Anneli, I see that you created a separate portfolio page, but your images aren’t appearing in the slideshow on that page. This can be a little confusing, and I’d be happy to help you with it!
The slideshow template in the Photographer theme works a bit differently from slideshows in other pages. To add images to a page using the slideshow template, you’ll actually need to click the “Add Media” button in the page editor and then re-upload the images there (rather than selecting them from images already in your Media Library). This will link the images to that specific page, so they’ll appear in the slideshow.
