Hide the like button
-
I’m developing a site using the Pena template and one of the page styles is a “grid” style, which is great, but I don’t know if it’s WordPress or the Pena template but every single page has a like button automatically available on the bottom of it, and when you have 3-6 pages showing up in grid style on one parent page, each with it’s own like button, it’s super annoying and a waste of space. I want to hide those. I actually don’t think we want like buttons anywhere on pages. Like buttons might be OK for blog posts, but not pages. Not sure if there’s a way to accomplish this with CSS. I’ve never used CSS before, but from what I read, it seems like it should work. My efforts bore no fruit.

Disable Like buttons on all pages:
See the Customizing Sharing Options section of the Sharing support page. To disable likes on all pages, at My Sites → Configure → Sharing → Sharing Buttons → Options → Show sharing buttons on, uncheck Pages.Disable Like buttons on individual pages:
See the Turn Likes On/Off on Specific Posts or Pages section of the Likes support page.
