Hide the Site Title and Tagline using the 2014 theme – Part 2

  In a previous post I reported the inability to hide the the site title and tagline when using a custom header which was reported as being fixed

  Hide Site Title and Tag Line

  I was out all day yesterday so have only just got round to testing. As you said the Site Title can now be hidden by deselecting the option to show Header Text in the menu option Appearance, Header, however that option only hides the header, not the tag line.

  Now I don’t know if this is related but if I select from the menu Appearance, Customise, the option there is to “Display Site Title and Tag Line”, or not, depending if you tick the box. However you can’t use this option. If you change something on any of the menu choices displayed down the right hand side you cannot save.

  Sorry to be a pain over this. Meanwhile I have activated 2014, but at the moment I have removed my Tag Line as it’s spoiling the look.
