Hide title when header image is the title
-
Is there a way to hide the title without css? I added a custom header image with my title, so there’s two titles on my home page, which is redundant. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please give your blog url, that one can know which theme you’re using? The blog linked to your username is deleted.

It would require the Custom Design upgrade and a little CSS experience to hide the title and tagline. You can try the following using the preview function at appearance > custom design > CSS.
.site-title a:link, .site-title a:visited { display: none; } -
Some themes allow you to hide the actual blog title and tagline. If the theme allows for this you will find that under > Appearance > Header The Bueno theme does not have this option. If you remove the blog title from here > Settings > General then do know that’s not wise as search engine spiders cannot read text in images and as they expect to find the blog title there. So to be sure your posts are indexed by search engine spiders I do not recommend removing it.

@misskerris, the CSS option keeps the titles, it just hides it from visitors. The search engines can still see them.

You are welcome.
You might want to go to appearance > theme options and select to include a “home” link in the navigation for your visitors. With the title hidden, there is no convenient way for them to get back to the main page of your site.
