Hide Visibility of Footer (SOHO Theme) in CSS
-
I’m looking for the CSS to hide the standard metadata in the SOHO Theme footer “Blog at WordPress.com. The SOHO Theme.” When I link to this text, it takes me to https://wordpress.com/?ref=footer_blog.
I’m not sure if CSS tag is “footer_blog.”
I want to hide this and put in my company and copyright.
I’ve tried this —
footer_blog.entry-meta {
visibility:hidden;
}and this
footer.entry-meta {
visibility:hidden;
}BOTH still displays the text above.

Hello Vnique,
I think that hiding or removing the standard metadata is against the terms of service if your site is hosted at wordpress.com
See the link referenced here.

@vnique, we are not allowed to hide or edit the WordPress.com and theme footer credits per our Terms of Service (#1 Attribution). See the Frequently Asked Questions on the Custom Design support page for more information.
You are allowed to restyle the footer credits to better fit with your design as long as they remain readable, and you are also allowed to add text to the footer, such as a copyright statement. If you need help restyling, or adding to, the existing footer credits, let us know and we would be happy to help.
