Hide widget at staticpage

  I want to hide the all the widget at my static page. I want the static page just a one column page.
  The Blix theme support this one but the Light 1.0 Theme does not.
  Please help me.

  Whether sidebars/widgets are visible on static pages is theme specific as you have found. It is not something that can be changed on themes that show the widgets on static pages.
