Hiding a post
-
Is there a way to “hide” a post from the blog stream without deleting or unpublishing it?
For example, I don’t want it showing up on the blog, but I want to still be able to send a link to someone and have them visit the post. I’m not really interested in password protecting it… I just want to have it open and accessible but not displaying on the blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. Password protecting the post is the only way to not have it accessible to everyone but still to some. You can also set it to private, but then only users with Admin or Editor roles on the blog will be able to read it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/
But there is no way to completely conceal a post from the main feed completely aside from making it private. What you could do is to put that information on a page instead. You can then use a custom menu to prevent that page from appearing in your blog menu. However, anyone with a link to the page will be able to view it and it could potentially also show up in search results.
For more info on custom menus, see here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

Hey there!
If I understand you correctly, you want the post hidden from the public and yet still easily viewable. The best way to do that is still going to be with a password.
Have you read through this already?
