Hiding a tab

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a wordpress site and the default post tab has been named “Blog” I have added a home page and set it as a static page, and that is now my front page. I also have set up a “posts” and allocated that as the page all my posts will appear on.

How can I hide or get rid of the tab that is titled “Blog”? Or is there a way of changing the wording on the tab? The problem is that because it is the default tab it does not appear in the edit pages option, also I may add this is on a seperate domain to wordpress org, so making changes to the navigation tabs will not affect anything on my blog here.

Hello there. Please post the complete URL for the blog in question starting with http:// so we can begin to help you.

Also not that if you are actually referring to a free hosted wordpress.COM blog then some themes do have Tabs (not actual pages) labeled “Home” or “Blog” etc. The tabs cannot be edited because there is no actual page. They cannot be removed because they are coded into the templates and we cannot edit templates.

There are solutions we can provide but until you post the URL for the blog we don’t know which theme you are using.
