Hiding all current posts

Hey Folks, rather than taking the drastic step of deleting all of the content on the blog and starting again, I’m wondering if it is possible to batch set all of the current posts to visible to admin only? Or is my only other option to go in to each post individually and change the setting? *shudder*

You can use the WP Admin dashboard to edit your site’s content in bulk, including deleting all the content. You can get to this dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s url (lunaticengine.wordpress.com/wp-admin)
Search for the appropriate item on the left menu.
Posts → All Posts
Pages → All Pages
Posts → Categories
Posts → Tags
Media → Library → (select list icon instead of squares)Select the items you want to delete with the checkbox, then the appropriate action from the “Bulk Actions” dropdown, and click “Apply” button.

Adding to @iamsiaph’ s excellent suggestion…
One simple alternative, which won’t hide older posts but will make them somewhat more difficult to reach, would be to create one new post and set the posts per page number at “1”. Then increase the number as you create additional posts. With the posts per page setting at “n,” an “Older Posts” link will appear below of the nth post on each page.
With infinite scroll disabled the posts per page may be set at My Site(s) > Settings > Writing > Content types. The number can be changed by simply clicking on the up/down arrows. When you’ve reached the desired number, save the change. See the Content Types section of the Writing Settings support page for relevant instructions and illustration.
