  How do I hide my WordPress blog from public viewing until it is finished? Also, can I delete my blog when I choose to?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The Privacy Settings control who can and cannot view your blog. You can change your Privacy Settings via your Settings -> Reading page: Select
  I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose – to create a private blog. If you want others to be able to view your private blog (and add comments, if you’ve enabled them) you’ll need to invite them to be a viewer. This support document will help you: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/#site-visibility-options You can also change your blog to public again, when you are ready.

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to reuse its WordPress.com address (such as cubaadventures.wordpress.com).
  If that’s not what you want to do, you can instead:
  *Change your site’s address and keep your content
  *Delete old posts and continue using the same address
  *Empty your site of all its content for a fresh start and continue using the same address
  *Transfer your site to someone else
  *Make your site private so only people you invite can see it

  Hi there,

  I believe you can change the privacy settings so that you control who has access to your site until you’re ready to make it public again. You can find the instructions here:

  You can also delete a blog, though this is something that you cannot reverse, so you will want to consider it carefully before doing so. The instructions to delete a blog can be found here:
