Hiding Categories from Main Page

I want to hide my #WordlessWednesday post category from my main page, and have them instead on a custom menu. I’m using the INove theme. Is there a way to do this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There isn’t a way to exclude certain categories from the main page. Also, #WordlessWednesday is not a post category on your site as far as I can see.

You can set a static front page for your site and then put each of your categories into a custom menu in the top navigation and then people would click on the various categories to see the posts in that category.

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry “Wordless Wednesday” is the actual post category. I just think of it in terms of the hashtag. :)

If I have a static front page can I have it show some posts? More than just links… previews at least.

I see “Wordless Wednesday” as a tag. Do you have the categories hidden?

Static pages cannot show posts. Your posts would only be on the category pages. You could have a normal “blog” (posts) page as well, but just like the main page, it would show all the posts from all categories.
