Hiding ‘Create your website with WordPress.com’ banner

  Hi, I just started my WordPress page (polgarpank) and I’m curious if I upgrade to personal plan then will the upper banner that says Create your website with WordPress disappear? I see that in the personal plan the wordpress ad are removed, I’m just not sure that it is an ad.
