Hiding double "home" page getting rid of "no categories" tab
-
I’m setting up a website for my online media class, and I currently have two home pages (one of them is a child page under the “contact” tab). On WordPress support, it said that some themes allow you to hide these child pages. Which of them do? Or is there another way I can hide it?
I also noticed one of the very last tabs says “No Categories.” I can’t find it anywhere in my list of pages to delete it. How can I get rid of it?
Please put your answers into layman’s terms. This is my first time dealing with WordPress as a CMS, so I don’t understand too much technical talk yet. Thanks!

to remove the tabs on your menus, try this:
Appearance >> Menus
Now on your right side, you will see various names that are on your menu. Hover over the one that you want to “hide” and then click “Remove” shown in red color. this will remove it.
Hope this helps.
