Hiding Featured Image from Post Page

Wondering if there’s a way to hide the featured image from showing up on the actual post page. I like that the image shows up in the collapsed blog segments that appear below my latest post, but don’t like that the featured image shows up in the post itself when someone clicks on it. Is there a way to change that? Blog is at cynthia-haynes.com. Thank you!

I’m not aware of any workaround that will achieve what you want to achieve. If you do not set a feature image the post will not be displayed in the Showcase template post slider. Please consult the theme description http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/oxygen/ and live demo site. http://oxygendemo.wordpress.com/
