Hiding header only in front & home page. Online Marketer theme. Pls. help, tnx!

I’m a “crawling” baby in WP. Picked Online Marketer because color, I’m realizing its limited customization. Running a front page with big logo only, I need NO HEADER on it (and home page neither) but I want to have banners on the other pages. Following suggestions of previous forums on this subjects I made changes in the codes (just improvising and playing by ear) which just freeze the site. I did repair it but I I still have that urge. Not possible without your specific help. Thank you!! :-)
