hiding header text function
-
I tried both “Kubrik” and “Contempt”, and both have a “hide text” button, but it does not work. On the forum somebody said the best way is to simply delete the blog’s name in “General Settings, which I did, and it works. However, doesn’t that impair the search function?

I am pretty sure they don’t work at all, because now I remember another blogger who had the same problem and who said the best way was to change to a theme called K2, which is similar to Contempt and Kubrick, but does not have that problem.

I’m using Vigilance and the “Hide Text” function in Custom Header works there.
Do *not* delete the title of your blog unless you want to kill it in searches.

On my test blog hiding the text works in Contempt. Doesn’t seem to work in Kubrik, can’t change the text color either.

Thank you for trying! However, right now I don’t want to try again. First I want to see what might come up here. After all the Americans are not yet up…..and whenever something goes wrong anywhere in the world, the Americans are there to fix it, somehow.

Contempt works fine for me as well, but Kubrick is definitely broken. My suggestion is to contact staff directly since they are the only ones that can fix it: http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

To thesacredpath:
Thank you very much. I will contact support (though, as I just wrote for you on another support page, I will have to lgive up this theme because of those pointers).
As always, thank you very much.

Also answered you on my blog and am glad the problem is resolved.
FWIW by your own definition we Americans are now found across the world, so one of us is awake somewhere. just sayin’… :)
