hiding homepage post

    I’ve set a new category with certain posts to be shown in that category only.
    Is it possible to now hide these posts from the blog homepage, so they are only shown when accessed from the category (added to the menu)?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    There’s not a way to automatically exclude those posts from the blog page.

    Many folks workaround it this way though:

    1. Creating a “blog” category.
    2. In Reading Settings, select a static home page and no posts page
    3. Create a Category Page for “Blog” in the custom menu options
    4. Categorize new posts as “blog” to appear in that blog listing

    A little tough, but it gets the setup done.
