hiding my htm google verification

my name is jhayes 167 and my site is brooklynbarbarosa.wordpress.com
i used google webmaster tools to verify the site by adding the html file, but i just added it as anothe rpage. now i want to hide that page so it doesnt look so ugly. i know i cant remove it becuase google checks in periodically. how can i keep the verification hidden?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

i dont understnad that FAQ. i have a bunch of other tabs, and i dont want to make it a parent, i just want it to be invisible

At the moment your page is a parent page. You must make it a child page by assigning it to another parent. The header displays parent pages only.

You can effectively “hide” the google verification by making it a routine post — not a page — but giving it a publication date so early that your regular readers will probably never see it.
