  How do I remove or hide my name from another site I have on WordPress?

  Hi there,

  Of what site are you speaking? And where exactly is your name being displayed?

  We don’t ask for your name at any point when you create a WordPress.com account, only for a username. That username is shown as the author of any posts or comments you publish on any site, unless you also set a public display name that will then display in place of the username.

  Depending on your theme there might be a setting to prevent your username/display name from appearing as the post author byline, but there’s no way to prevent this for comments.

  If your real name is displaying, it’s likely because you added it somewhere to the site, and you’d need to remove it the same way you added it.
