Hiding Page Names/Titles
-
hi-
I’d like to remove or hide the page titles on the Forever theme but can’t work out how to do it on the customization dashboard or with CSS… does anybody know how to do this? E.g. I don’t want it to say “home” (or any of the page names) on the navigation menu AND the title. This is site I’m working on:

I have a possible solution, it doesn’t involve any CSS editing, and there may be a more elegant way to do it, but it will work, and shouldn’t be too hard.
Well you can remove the page titles by just editing the page and deleting the title.
This then means of course that it won’t automatically come up on the menu, since it has no name. You can get around this by using a custom menu, and selecting the pages you want in your header, you can add the proper title of the name to appear in the header, and it will give a link to the page, that won’t have a title. I’d just make sure that the URL for the page is still the same, and isn’t edited in the process, but that is easily fixed.

This will remove the title in the content area from all pages you create.
.page .entry-title { display: none; } -

You are welcome.
It is always best to keep a title on posts and pages, and not leave them blank in the editor. To do so can make search engines cranky and you don’t want to anger the g00g and the rest. Search engines want titles for things, even if the public can’t see them.
