Hiding photo metadata
-
I’ve just created a photo blog (http://suburbanbliss1.wordpress.com/) and when I click on the thumbnails a lot of information appears below the iamge that I don’t want my visitors to see: original file name (on the left) and camera, aperture, focal length, shutter speed (on the right). Could it be that this is visible only to me as administrator? If it’s visible to everyone, how do I change that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Including EXIF data is optional. You can enable/disable this in ‘Settings’ –> ‘Media’ in your blog’s dashboard. This is the link to the guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/media-settings/#image-gallery-carousel -
Thank you so much for your quick reply. You’ve solved _almost_ all my problems, the one piece of information that still displays is the original file name. Is there a way to hide that? Again, thanks so much, I really appreciate your help.

In that case there probably isn’t one! It’s OK, I’ll live with it. Thank you again, you’ve been wonderfully helpful. All the best to you!

I’ve figured it out! When you go to the “Edit Gallery” page and you click on one of the thumbnails, the fields for “title” and “caption” appear on the right. By default the file name appears in the “title” field, but you can edit it there as well as the caption. All the best to you, Alexis
