Hiding posts from the “home page”

  Is there a way to post to the blog but not have it show up on WordPress’s “home page”? Should I post the information to a page instead of the blog?

  Yup, just date it earlier than the posts already there. The datetime stamp is along the right hand side of your Write Post page.
