Hiding reply to comment by viewer

  How can I reply to a comment from a Viewer that will not show up on the actual Post itself?

  You can’t.

  Your reply will of course show up on the post on which your viewer is commented.

  Hello, and thanks for the response.

  I just want to make sure I have this correct. When someone makes a comment to one of my Posts it has to be approved by me before it shows up on the Post itself. So, based on what you are saying, there is no way I can respond to the person who made the comment unless I want it to actually appear on the actual Post itself.

  If this is correct, then there is no need to respond to my reply but if I am incorrect in my assumption, please let me know.

  You can approve/unapprove, reply, edit, spam, or trash any comment.
  Please check Manage Comments for more information.
