Hiding Subpages
-
Howdy folks, I’ve got a number of subpages that I’ve recently added to a tutorial section on my site, and I can’t figure out how to hide them in the menu. I know I’ve done this before, because that tutorial section has a bunch of these, but either the interface has changed or I’ve simply forgotten. I can’t find anything helpful in the documentation either. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi there!
I’m not sure I understand what exactly do you mean. Could you share a screenshot of what you’re trying to hide?
You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/) and paste the link into your reply. In general, to remove an item from the menu, you’ll have to go to Appearance>Customize>Menus.

Hello Fresatomica,
Thanks for the response! Here’s a screenshot, with the troublesome pages circled in red:

Ah, that’s the Pages widget, and you can exclude items by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/widgets/pages-widget/#settings
However, since you have to do that, you might want to use a menu widget instead: https://wordpress.com/support/widgets/navigation-menu-widget/
As the menu’s interface is much easier to work with: https://wordpress.com/support/menus/
