hiding tags with godaddy hosting

  • Unknown's avatar

I am on the twentyten theme through a regular wordpress account but then I upgraded to have it hosted by godaddy.com so that I could hide the tags from every post. But I can’t seem to find out where I can get help doing so. I don’t have a lot of html experience and I’ve searched the forums for 3 days now trying to find my answer. No luck. I was able to get into the ftp files through godaddy.com but then I don’t know which file to go in and edit. i can’t find a tag.php file and it doesn’t look like it’s in the index.php file (unless I’m looking at the wrong index.php file as there are multiple ones)
Any help would be much appreciated!

  • Hi there,

You’ve reached support for the free sites hosted at WordPress.com.

If you’re having problems with a site not hosted with WordPress.com, we may not be able to help. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

You can view the differences here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

You can find support for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress at WordPress.org and the WordPress Codex.
