  Yes it’s clear now. All you really wanted was to have the ‘read more’ option? Glad you got it sorted love :)

  I don’t display any of the sharing buttons on the excerpts on my front page. I disabled this: “Front Page, Archive Pages, and Search Results” for “Show buttons on” setting and selected only
  – Posts
  – Pages

  That cleaned up the appearance on my front page. (I’m a minimalist who is using fewer and fewer widgets. )
