Hiding WP when domain is mapped to it

  My WP is set to “only allow people I choose to view it” and no one is designated but me. I just mapped my domain to WP and the site is displaying. Unfortunately it’s very much a draft and not ready for prime time. How can I hide my WP site until it’s ready? It’s ok if my domain displays a 404.

  Carole, you can see the site because you’re logged in. Anyone else will just see a WordPress login page, nothing more.

  To make the ‘.wordpress.com’ go away, visit the Upgrades / Domains tab of your blog and click the “Put Blog Here” link to make carolemeyre.com your blog’s main domain.
