Hiding/Excluding Particular Author(s) from List

  I want to hide/exclude certain authors from the listed-authors links. how do I do that? I have a
  ul>>
  li>> each author link

  and certain authors just need to be removed.
  Also, can I add auto-class name uniquely assigned to each link of author’s name? that’d be awesome as unique class for each author or link’s always great.
