Hierarchical categories flat in Andreas09

  I’ve read the posts about bugs with hierarchical categories going flat in April, but my problem is that they are only flat in the Andreas09 design. Is that just a characteristic of that particular design? Is there a CSS workaround that anyone has figured out?
