Hierarchies pages not working?
-
I have my pages organized at the top into sections like recipes, workouts etc. What I want is to have people hover their mouse over the workouts tab and their be a drop down list of the different workouts.. I want the same with the recipe section. I tried to make a new page for the workout and have “Workouts” as the Parent page but it didn’t show up? Would love some help with this! Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

In most themes with top navigation, the header displays parent pages only; to display child pages, you need to add the Pages widget to your sidebar.
There are only a few themes with dropdowns – see here:

Ok thanks! Thats too bad.. is there anyway I can edit the CSS to have that option with this theme.. I’m not sure I really want to change my theme right now.

These themes are the only ones that provide for dropdown menus from Parent pages to child sub-pages: Monochrome, iNove, Neutra, Sandbox 1.6.1, and Titan.
If you wish to purchase the CSS editing upgrade and have the skills to do the work on your own then you can select a theme use Sandbox 1.6.1 to do the CSS editing in. The upgrade will allow you to stylize the appearance of themes you find here > Appearance > Themes, but it does not allow you to change the functionality, by editing the underlying template. Also note that CSS is theme specific, so you cannot use the CSS stylesheets from other themes with the themes here at wordpress.COM.
Since there is no official Staff support for the CSS upgrade, and precious little volunteer support, I recommend that you don’t buy the upgrade unless you have at least moderate understanding of HTML and CSS because you must be prepared to do the work on your own. If you are considering purchasing the upgrade, you can go to Appearance > Edit CSS. There wordpress has provided a preview function where you can try before you buy.
