  I like to keep several items in draft form to post when there’s a lull at http://northharbourvets.wordpress.com
  When I ‘publish’, how do I alter the date so as to have them show at the top of the Home page?

  The edit timestamp is on the right-hand side beside the little calendar icon. It says Publish immediately, Edit. Click on Edit.
