Hierarchy won't line up so what do I do now?

I am so confused!!!! You guys need a button to fix the hierarchy on a site. The site name is Fixing Ranger. that’s it! Avery Rowe’s article should be under a button called Ranger World Changers – and articles should move there when new ones are posted to the front page. “A man of his word” shouldn’t be on the front page anymore but I can’t get rid of it. I built a menu with three buttons (Home for the fresh article, About for me, and Ranger World Changers for the older articles to be moved to – I can’t get anything to line up and this is a grad school project. I’m at my wits end. Help me, please!!!!

Sorry to hear the site isn’t working the way you envisioned–I think we can fix things up for you pretty quickly though.

If you go to settings>reading on your dashboard the second option is “blog pages show at most.” if you change the number there to 1 that will change the set up of your site so that only your newest post appears on the front page.

So long as you give all your posts the “ranger world changer” category, all the other posts will continue to show up on the page you set up for them.

Note–the newest post will show up on the “Ranger World Changers” page too because it’s part of the category. Is that a problem? If so, you could post new articles without a category and then give each article the category “Ranger World Changers” after it’s no longer the newest post. I’m not sure that’s worth the trouble though.

Does that sort things for you?
