Our website is down and not even listed in my account as ‘my site’ anymore, don’t know where to start to get it back? please help!WP.com: Unknown

Hi there, https://highlightorgnz.wordpress.com/ is the only site we have under your account here, and I don’t see anything wrong in particular with it, besides it having no content except the demo post.
Would you please share the URL of the site you’re referring to?
Once we know that, we should be able to help or at least direct you to the folks who can.

Sorry the domain we have is https://highlight.org.nz/ (I forgot the .nz)
The site was setup and running fine through wordpress just a few months ago but then just dropped off all of a sudden. The other day I couldn’t even log in, today I can but there was no sign of the site. I wondered if our subscription expired so this morning once I was able to log in, I quickly just paid to see if that would renew our account. Then tried to reconnect the url hence the https://highlightorgnz.wordpress.com/ you can see.
Any further assistance appreciated, or will the site connect again soon now that I have paid and requested to connect?

Ah, ok, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com; it is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GridFast.
You should be able to log in to it through https://highlight.org.nz/wp-login.php Is that where you are getting stuck?
Because we use a custom login system on WordPress.com, we are not able to help you regain access, but for the version of WordPress that your hosting provider uses, you can find help in the support forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
Before you ask for help there, though, you may want to try the steps they recommend here first: https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/

No when I try log in that way I get the below error message:
There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
No emails are being received, do I try contact GridFast?
